Lan Jin Yin (Yinji Jin) stays in the apartment next to Shan Guo and raises her 2 grandchildren, Li Qin (Shaun Chen) and Li Fen (Paige Chua), single-handedly after their mother Qiu Mei (Jess Teong) was imprisoned for killing their father. Qiu Mei was released from prison and was shunned by Jin Yin and Li Qin when she looks them up. She moved into an apartment near them in an attempt to reconcile and make up for her past mistakes.
